My Easter Weekend

I spent my Easter weekend in Windsor at Grandma & Papa John's house.

Mom and dad joined me there too (just coming back from their vacation in Jamaica)

On Saturday morning, we started off our day making easter eggs

(check out my sexy christmas apron - it was the only one small enough to fit me!)

making beautiful easter eggs is a messy & wonderful business





clean up is just as fun too!






As a present / bribe to forgive them for going away for a week, Daddy bought me this cool baseball toy

of course, daddy had to try it out too





when Parker & Brooke came over we organized a baseball game

Everybody got to a chance to hit and run the bases. Parker was a pro!

mom was excited to play too


Brookie stole home (missing this narrow escape from Parker)

silly mom thought she could stop me...

Baseball made us all thirsty, so we took a break and had a drink

We also decided to play with some snakes grandma found in her garden

Brooke and Parker brought their bikes. I didn't have one, so I decided to run along besides Brooke's (a "me too" hereditary thing...)

The bike ride ended up at the park

When we got back from the park, we all refused to go inside even when it started to rain
Grandma, mom and Brooke watched the boys from the back of the car
(mom was sure to protect her scotch from the rain)

no rain was going to bother the boys though...

We were coaxed inside at the concept of doing a 'trial run' easter egg hunt (in preparation for sunday morning)

And we were AWESOME and found all the eggs that mom hid

We also thought it would be fun to make some more Easter eggs

and the christmas apron made its second appearance of the day

even dad got into easter egg mode

NOW we are ready for Easter!

Easter morning I was all ready to go

And grandma even made me my a very special Easter Bunny shirt that says

"Somebunny loves Beej"

The Easter bunny left lots of goodie-filled eggs!

And as you can tell from the photos, I was pretty excited about the hunt
