Hooray! Christmas is upon us! (well, upon the Etheringtons anyway...)

The third Sunday in November marks the start of the Christmas season - and why? Because that is the day of the Santa Claus Parade of course!

In the last 16 years mom has never missed the parade (I have been invited to 4 of them)
And the parade is even better when you share it with good friends. Along with Leah, Darcy and Lola - Beth, Bill, Margaret and baby Grant joined us this year too!
(also, mom wanted me to add that boozy hot chocolate for the adults certainly adds a little something special to the parade as well)

Having seen the parade many times, we were all excited for the FIRST appearance of a balloon float. Balloon floats are something parades in NYC have, but never in TO. So, we were all noticeably excited!

This is a pic of Mom and I captivated by the parade... this is a similar image of what we look we when watch tv too

One of our parade day tradition is that Lola and I wear matching embroidered Christmas t-shirts .
Our moms offer us many bribes in order to smile and sit together on the couch to pose for pictures

And another tradition is that the picture doesn't quite turn out. Good luck next year moms :)
Well, let the Christmas season begin!!
