Mom loves her Christmas traditions and Ladies Gingerbread Night is certainly one of her favourites!
Leah, Sarah and mom get together to eat Swiss Chalet festive specials, drink copious amounts of wine... and do something else... Oh, right - make gingerbread houses!
And voila!As is also tradition, mom contributes little to the decorating but lots to the drinking of the wine.
And normally Sarah and Leah play equal parts in decorating, however, Sarah may have had a few drinks before arriving, so Leah was pretty much on her own.
Good job Leah!
It is also tradition that the gingerbread house gets consumed by the boys on poker night. We thought they might enjoy the army men!
This year the ladies decided to extend the fun to the next day as well. Mom, Leah and Sarah took the day off of work and met for a lovely brunch in Leslieville.It was a great morning, so the ladies went for a long walk around the neighbourhood. And they came across this "house".... oh my.

The ladies eventually made it back to Leah's house for cake pop making. Again, mom contributed very little. In fact, nothing. But she very much enjoyed the great time with her friends :)
