Okay, I am VERY sorry!
I know we owe everyone pictures of my numerous birthday parties from the long weekend (which btw are super cute), however, instead of blogging this weekend we decided to take on the dreaded task of cleaning out the scary room in the basement.
If our house was Hogwarts, then this would be the Room of Requirements. A place where items go to be hidden (or lost) for all time.
We call it the "Scary Room" because it looks like a dark dungeon, a place Buffalo Bill would happily take up residence. But, as of this weekend, the only thing scary about it is how good it is! (Dad wanted credit for that line)
If you could read the labels on these boxes (yes everything is labeled now), approx. 90% would say "Christmas Decorations', but whose counting...

Dad and Mom completely cut themselves off from the rest of the world and worked tirelessly (I, on the other hand, enjoyed time at Granite and a birthday party for my buddy Jeremiah).
Mom and Dad would tell you that the only upside to sacrificing your weekend to cleaning the scary room is re-discovering old treasures - especially when they are photos. Mom now has a collection of 'golden oldies' that she wants to post on the blog.
