Florida 2010

Here are some pics of our family trip to Florida to visit Nana & Papa B

So, what you are telling me is that not only does this thing fly 30,000 feet in the air, but I can watch my Treehouse on my own personal tv screen??
Awesome!

got my dump truck - all ready to hit the beach!

Hurray! I finally made it to the beach!

Wait... is it suppose to be this cold?

no bathing suit pictures of mom this trip - sorry dad

Our first trip to the beach was short-lived.
So we decided to hang out in downtown Naples instead

Skylar, Aunt Nycki and Uncle Paul joined us in our downtown tour too

Perfect chocolate ice cream smiles
(they have delicious ice cream in downtown Naples!)

We also found lots of 'indoor' activities to keep us busy.
Including some very competitive games of Hungry Hungry Hippos

And one day we decided to take a trip to the Naples Zoo

Careful mom.... there is a tiger behind you!
(it was too cold for some of the animals to come out, so we enjoyed looking at pictures of animals)

Just kidding, we actually did see one or two real animals including an actual tiger

and a gater

and this weird thing with horns???

but the best part of the zoo was all of the running
& running
& running
Another day we visited 'King Richard's' castle

King Richard must have been a big fan of kiddy rides, 'cause he has a lot of them!

King Richard even had activities for Daddies!
All of our non-beach activities made me very sleepy... so much so that I couldn't even make it to my bed one day to take a nap!
But the day finally arrived when it was 'nice-ish' enough to spend more than 10 minutes at the beach

dump truck was ready to build a castle

not bad at all...

and my favourite part of castle building - filling up the moat!

And what beach trip would be complete without a hunt for seashells?

Nana is an expert at finding great shells!
****
But the best part of our trip to Florida, is all of the very cute pictures of me!

and of course cute pics of Skylar too!

Thanks Nana & Papa for a great trip!

And to end this blog entry, here is mom's favourite pic of me on my bridge
(it is the same one that we took two year ago: http://bjetherington.blogspot.com/2008/01/my-florida-vacation.html)

You make a very handsome Beach Bum Beej! Sorry it was so cold that you only got one day on the sand but you looked like you had lots of fun with the fam. Next time you want to get on a plane come and see Auntie E and Uncle Kenny in India... It's nice and warm here! We miss you buddy.
