Just because we are on vacation does not mean mom & grandma are missing their reality tv. Quite the opposite in fact.Even I've been staying up late and partaking in some reality tv watching too!
We cheer for Boston Rob on Survivor and are all VERY much enjoying Ralph Macchio on Dancing With The Stars
In fact, we like Ralph so much that on our 5th trip to Target (at least) we noticed the Karate Kid was on sale for $5 and bought it immediately!
Yesterday was stormy and rainy in Ft Myers, so we had an afternoon indoors which was perfect for movie time.
Don't I look EXACTLY like Daniel LaRusso?!

When the movie was finished, the rain had stopped but the clouds and cold weather remained. Which, of course, meant POOL TIME for us Canadians!
"Hey - why is no one else at the pool today"
"Mom - is that 'coffee' keeping you warm?"
Mom had a few "coffees" and decided to try some Karate Kid moves as wellPaint the fence.
Paint the house.
Wax on. Wax off. 
And one last (and very short) dip in the pool 
And then a warm shower for me!
Btw, someone needs to get me one of these squeegee things - I can't get enough...

only one bad day out of 9 and we still found a way to have fun!!!! Shopping at Ross dress for less (while we were soaked to the skin from a nasty rain storm) and jumped the fence at the pool (cuz the storm had shorted out the computer operated gates), and went in the hot tub and a quick dip in the pool for giggles while Mom drank her wine in the coffee cup!...and watched the movie Karate Kid! We won't be kept from fun!
