Mom had Easter Monday off of work. And since I had lots of activities booked with Ate M, Mom and Dad decided to spend the afternoon together.
Normally, they would go for a late lunch / drinks but after such fun Easter weekend / birthday party celebrations, even drinks were out.
OR they could go to the movies... but nothing really caught their eye.
So, Dad suggested "High Tea" - yes, Dad suggested it!
So, off to the Four Seasons they went and spent a lovely afternoon drinking tea and eating delicious scones with devonshire cream and raspberry jam.
Mom had never seen dad actually drink tea, despite his very British roots. Not surprisingly he selected English Breakfast tea flavour and added A LOT of sugar and cream to it! The Four Seasons staff even had a fancy doggy bag to house all of our delicious cucumber and salmon sandwiches that we couldn't possibly finish!
What an absolutely delightful afternoon (note: to be said with English accent)
