May the roof above us never fall in
And may the friends gathered below it never fall out
Friends like Lola and Dylan are similar to four leaf clovers - hard to find and lucky to have!
Mom and Dad provided the bar and beer, but Sarah did all of the planning for our Irish celebrations.
(And yes, there is green cream cheese in those appetizers and Sarah is wearing an apron that has a wine glass overflowing with clovers and says "Wench" on it.)
Sarah, our Irish Martha Stewart, created a special St Patty's themed scavenger hunt for us kids. My job was to read out all of the clues (which by the way were all masterfully coloured by Irish Martha herself...)
Leprechauns be warned, the hunt for our Pot of Gold is ON!
A shot of Lola successfully finding clue #7 on my top bunk
Almost there, only one more clue to go!!!
And our Pots of Gold (aka as colourful arrays of candy all individually wrapped and conveniently labeled with our names on them) were waiting for us. Along with this final clue :)
The moms very much enjoyed their St Patty's Day
I'm sure drinking beer and wine through a straw might have had something to do with it
"Always remember to forget the friends that proved untrue, but never forget to remember the friends that have stuck by you"

"We have always found the Irish to be a bit odd. They refuse to be English"
~Winston Churchill
