After our adventures at the fort, we got ourselves all cleaned up and headed over to Jessica’s house for dinner and an evening with great friends!
Along with seeing her brother get hitched, this get-together was a key highlight in mom’s 2012 summer vacation.
Considering this party took place in Windsor, it seems appropriate to quote Lee Iacocca, who once said “When you die, if you’ve got 5 real friends, then you’ve had a great life”
Mom is extremely fortunate to have had these wonderful people in her life for the past 22 years – which is only intensified by seeing all of the kids playing together.
Mom was especially appreciative because everyone dropped everything that they were doing, changed their plans and dragged their kids out late on a Thursday night just to accomodate this one evening mom was in town and could get together.
Thanks girls - you are the best!!!
Mom feels she can speak for Mr. Iacocca and her highschool friends by saying,
“Go Mustangs!”
Get it?? The mustang was the highschool mascot, Iacocca engineered the Ford Mustang… anyway, we hit a low with the straw story, so why stop now…
