The Team Peachy Nation

Everyone has their opinions about the Toronto Maple Leafs, but what is completely undisputed is the fact that Toronto hockey fans are notoriously loyal.

And this loyalty is unique amongst sports franchises, it runs very deep, spans generations and even has its own name:
Leaf Nation.

Therefore, I can’t think of a better analogy to describe the absolute loyalty and complete devotion that everyone who is a proud member of “Team Peachy” has for our Beth Anne.

Which is why we are officially launching “Team Peachy Nation!”

Well that, and the fact that Bill is a huge Leaf’s fan and would appreciate the analogy.

Where Beth goes, we go. Both in body and spirit.

Also, I don’t think she has been to a hospital visit without a minimum of 7 people in tow. Moreover, we all like to wear matching Team Peachy merchandise - as evident in this picture taken in the Mt Sinai waiting room yesterday (the ladies are modeling our new fall line of ‘Peachy Pashminas’)

The doctors who are familiar with us eventually acknowledge (and concede) that Beth comes avec entourage or, more appropriately, a team that is in her corner ready to battle cancer alongside her.

Lawrence Peter Berra (aka Yogi Berra) once said, “When you’re part of a team, you stand up for your teammates. Your loyalty is to them. You protect them through good and bad, because they’d do the same for you.”

And now that we all officially know the chemo schedule, we are going to update Beth’s Blog to ensure that Team Peachy Nation can stay connected and updated.

So, be sure to watch out for an updated blog this holiday weekend!
