'Tis the Season to be "Mary"

"Well, that's my name"
"No....sh...."

For those that don't recognize the quote, it is one of many classic lines from the movie Christmas Vacation.  The viewing of this film of course officially marks the beginning of our holiday season!

"Can't see the lines, can you Russ?"
****
The movie however is only one wonderful aspect of a much larger christmas kick-off day.  First up - The Santa Claus Parade!!!

The snacks for the kids and the boozy hot chocolate for the adults might still trump the actual parade itself (especially the creepy upside down clowns and the Queens marching band - take THAT dad)

Then back home to watch Clark W. Griswold Jr enjoy his fun old fashion family christmas.

"Hey Griswold, where do you think you are going to put a tree that big"
"Bend over and I'll show you"
***
Then Lola and I are forced to model our new Christmas embroidery

And Quinn has to model too!

Then Dad cooks a delicious roast complete with yorkshire pudding, buttery peas, mashed potatoes and loads of gravy!!

Hooray, Christmas is here!!!
