St. Patrick -- one of the few saints whose feast day presents the opportunity to make a fool of oneself all under the guise of acting Irish!
Mom had the sewing machine in high gear in order to prepare for our st. patty's day celebration.
Among the many examples below, mom's favourite was this green tea towel featuring Yoda... which seemed appropriate considering my love of everything Star Wars.
"May the luck of the Irish be with you young jedi"
Thanks to Sarah, even mom's nails were Irish themed
Mom also bought a new embroidery design that includes a little pocket in the back to hold your utensils... she was very proud of her creations below
And they looked great on our Paddy's Day table! Even though you can't see them in this actual picture.... you'll just have to take my word for it.
But no decorations could compare to how great Dylan, Lola and I looked decked out in our green gear.
Hooligans (plural) in training!
Hooligan-junior-in-training seen in the pic above.... soon to be the leader in about 12 months.
While unable to fully communicate at 15 months old, Quinn is likely thinking "I am sick of all these Irish stereotypes. As soon as I am done this drink I am punching someone"
And for the adults, it just isn't St Patrick's day unless you are drinking out of a large green funnel
Sarah makes it look so easy!
Keeping to our St. Patrick's Day tradition, we had a scavenger hunt to find our own little pots of gold!
Many shenanigans later we were successful in our quest!
Three big thumbs up for this holiday!!!
