In 1952 a new program aired on the CBC. It was called Hockey Night in Canada.
Papa B watched that first televised game with his Dad, Joe Etherington (aka Gramps). And together they would listen to the legendary Foster Hewitt open the broadcast when he would say "Hello, Canada, and hockey fans in the United States and Newfoundland"
And with these jerseys on, I kinda think we look like these guys below...
Already looking forward to tonight's game... T-2 hours and counting

You are continuing a great tradition....Hockey Night In Canada was all that was ever on T.V. on Sat. night when i was a kid....it's a Canadian thing. BUT, we didn't have any shirts...and i opted for board games or puzzles as the game seemed too long for me.
Glad you and your Dad are keeping the tradition alive!
