Exuma!

For March Break my parents spent a week on an island... without me.

Now, on behalf of this blog, I will make an apology in advance.  This trip resulted in 600 pictures (seriously, I don't even know how that is possible, but that is the number).

So on behalf of everyone that thinks that is ridiculous, I am sorry you  have to endure this blog post.

Nevertheless here are some shots from the trip... some totally normal, some "Mark Specials" (although the majority of those make up the 550 that aren't posted on this blog), some goofy, some fun and finally some cheesy professional - kinda like the opening picture

Remember, I apologized in advance.

Okay, here we go.  Let's start with 'the night out' picture collection:

Most of the vacation was spent golfing - which was AMAZING! So, next up, the golfing picture collection

This was a really nice shot... mom doesn't have too many of these over water.  If you look closely you can see the ball in flight!

There were some activities other than just golf... see for yourself

Eating delicious meals (like my lobster tail) counts as an activity

So do campfires

enjoying cigars... sure, why not

Drinking on the beach also counts as an activity. In fact, could be the most important one of the bunch :)

Now, on to the beach itself.  A LOT of time was spent there.

At least 2x per day, a 4,000 step walk (as recorded by mom's fitbit) from one side of the beach to the other was taken.

Now here are just some cheesy, but fun pictures that the photographers at the resort took... starting with mom's favourite one:

And finally ending on "double Katie" picture... which no one would ever want, especially Katie.

And here are some other shots that aren't really categorized... including lots of selfies

These strange towel dogs were left for us one night.  The male dog has the remote and is watching TV, while the female towel dog is reading a romance book.  Apparently this is how towel dogs like to vacation.

The perfect getaway... then back to the snow!
